Cape Town — Where It Started

In 2023, I moved to Cape Town for six months to intern at Sea Monster Entertainment. It was a time of many firsts: living on my own, travelling outside Europe and working inside a professional design studio.
 

During my internship, I worked on social media content, graphic design and animation. My main project was creating an animated trailer for Games for Change Africa, bringing together African cultures, playfulness and creativity — a project you can also find elsewhere in this portfolio.
 

But Cape Town taught me much more than design. I met new people, experienced a different culture and discovered how much I loved being out in the world. I’ve always dreamed of travelling, experiencing nature and discovering new cultures — this was the first time I actually took that leap.
 

Looking back, it became the start of a chain reaction. One experience opened the door to another, and suddenly the world felt a whole lot bigger — and more accessible.
